Felicia Marcus will draw on her experience as chair of California’s State Water Resources Control Board to describe the extraordinary measures the state is implementing to address the impacts of climate change on its water resources and services. Identified as “California’s Water Czar” by the New York Times, Marcus is the face of state’s bold efforts to deal with unprecedented drought. She also brings perspectives from her work as Administrator of U.S. EPA’s Pacific Southwest Region and as head of the Los Angeles’ Department of Public Works at a time when the city garnered national awards for environmental excellence.
